Booking & Ticketing

Tickets can be booked up to 10 days in advance. Online booking opens at 8:00 AM for the departure date 10 days later.

You can buy up to 4 tickets per transaction. A maximum of 6 tickets can be purchased per day per NID.

NID is required for passengers 18 and above when the fare exceeds BDT 500 per person. Passport is accepted as an alternative.

Yes. Enter the traveler's NID details during booking. The ticket holder must present their NID during travel.

An online service charge of BDT 30 per ticket applies. This is non-refundable.

Yes. Select "Round Trip" on the homepage. Alternatively, book two separate one-way tickets.

Yes. All payments are SSL-encrypted and processed through secure payment gateways.

No. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Go to Check PNR, enter your PNR and mobile number, view your booking and click "Cancel Ticket".

15% of base fare if cancelled more than 24 hours before departure. 50% if cancelled 4–24 hours before. No refund within 4 hours.

Mobile banking: 3–5 days. Cards: 7–10 days. Bank transfer: 5–7 days.

If you booked multiple tickets, you can cancel individual tickets. Contact support at 16516.

No. Show the SMS or email confirmation on your mobile. TT will accept digital tickets.

Your ticket becomes invalid. No refund is provided for missed trains unless you cancel at least 4 hours before departure.

Seat changes are not available online. You can request a seat change from the TT on board.

Economy class: 30kg free. AC classes: 40kg free. Excess luggage charged per kg.

Children under 3 travel free (no seat). Children 3–12 pay 50% adult fare.

Check your email first. If not received, call 16516 within 2 hours of booking with payment proof.

You can book at any railway station counter. Alternatively, try the app or use a different browser.

Ensure your mobile number is correct. Check if SMS is blocked. Wait 2 minutes and retry. Call 16516 if problem persists.
